Runnin 6 spkrs instead of 4
Well I am really confused! I am really unclear as to how i can connect 6 speakers instead of the stock 4. I have a Clarion deck and Boston Acoustics speakers all connected to the stock amps and i wanna get rid of the the stock amps but i have no where to connect the other two speakers because whoever had the car before connected them directly to the stock amps. I dont wanna use the stock amps at all because i was told the deck can power the speakers much better than the stock amp. Do I need a new wiring harness?? I dunno, please help! :help
What? Ok What kind of car. Does it have stock 6 speakers or stock 4 speakers. You can only power 4 speakers off a head unit. Well your only sopposed to. Its stupid to do six. How you power six. You get a four channel amp and a two channel amp. The amps RMS has to match the RMS of the speakers. And not exeed the peak power of the speakers.

why not have more power than the speak can handle,ever hear of control.thats bull****.better to have more than less.i dont even turn my gains up thats done tru pre amp.when i rip out my amps and put new ones i got in i will be running 370 to a one inch tweet straiaght from amp to tweet. tweeter gaurd in place thou.but probubly wont need that cause they will never see a clipped signal.i have alot of friends that work for car toys and most dont no crap.because all they no is cartioys stuff.do your own home work dont tAKE WHAT OTHERS SAY TO BE [WORD]NOTHING WRONG AT ALL w/overpowering.OUT.by the way you can power 2 speaks ,tweets off head unit and other 2 chanels to 4 chanel amp.or just one 4 chanel 2 on tweets and 2 chanels for comp set if there is a passive crossover.i used to run 14 mb quarts off 2 4 chanel amps ,using there big power robbing crossovers.
