hey well i had the ka-t on for about 2 weeks now and the car was running fine i run it at 9psi after racing this guy with a sr20 the car start to surge arround 5k. it never did this before. i mean i'm not tuned but i got a base tune from a friend. after that race i notice the car ran real rough, like it was like it was real rich or something. i decided to do a pull to see how it was. i hit 15 psi and it was surging like crazy when i got home i checked under the hood and my vacuum line to the wastegate and bov feel loose. so i put it back on and it still runs rich. i know its not the tune becuase even under normal driving it wants to surge. and it never did this before.and it will only hold idle if i dont punch the car. after i do it will die. any ideas. cold i have detroyed my motor for having such high psi? blown head gasket? the car still drive but it drives like ****.

If theres no smoke coming out of the tail pipe, theres a good chance your engine is fine. It seems like you have a bad FPR? Maybe when you punch it, the FPR is being stuck open and allowing to much fuel into the engine after you come down from the boosted run. Also, how are you tuning this car? SAFC? What are your 900 and 1200 RPM numbers if so?

yeah i'm using the safc. i was tunning the car with a wideband i brorrowed from my uncle. but he needed it back but my setting for the neo is hi thro, -27 accross the board and -40 accross the board on lo thro. i'm using a weapon-r fpr and have a walbro fuel pump. the fuel pressure it at 40 psi on idle with vacuum line attached.

if ringlands were blown, you'd have some nice smoke coming from the exhaust.. for 370cc injectors.. at IDLE it should be at -10 and +27 across from there on.

well i see some are you are pissed off at me but here are the compression numbers. yeah i guess i was a dumbass.

1st 180psi 2nd 105psi 3rd 185psi 4th 110psi

i dont think thats a good number. i can just tell by the difference bettween the two cylinders to the other two.
