all the guys at SXOC swear by them, but I had not considered the factors you just mentioned, as I was planning to get their Stage2 chip for my T25g setup.

I don't know how different could the weather be in Canada compared to UK, being at a similar Latitude, but here (Central Amer) we have 40+% humidity all year long and temps ranging from 26C on a cold night to 38C on a hot day.

I suppose most sensors would help the standard ECU adjust mixture depending on all these factors, so I guess any chip would do the same as long as it is kept within the recommended limits.

My vote? Rediculous. Those tunes are generic and they are aware that they are going to be used in various different environments. Unless you have the car that the chip is going on, sitting on a dyno in-front of you and you're using a romulator to tune it, you're going to tune it conservatively

The Horsham Chips are very good, don't listen to your friend.

I think the only restriction would be what turbo he tuned for --and the fuel.

I am pretty sure he tunes for 96-98 octane--but the measurement is different in the states --I am pretty sure the UK goes for 96 -98 RON and the USA is R + M/2 ==( Not sure about Canada) --However if you run 93 or higher in R+M/2 rating you will be good.

Ever run your car at Calabogie? Nice track and not too far from Ottawa

I don't know anything about tuning, but I have to agree. So people in England can't take their cars for a drive to Spain? I very seriously doubt it. Besides I'd be very surprised if the chips in England are any different than the ones in, say, Sweden, which has a similar climate to Canada.

I guess they could as long as they could hold their breath and had one hell of a snorkel kit.

Gas octane rates are the same as the one in usa over here in Canada. We got 87 - 89 - 91 - 94 available.

Or took this thing called a "ferry." It's only 21 miles.

Yeah, I was sitting at the table having sinner tonight and I was talking to my wife about a possible trip to Europe we might be taking. I said something about renting a car in the UK and then flying to Paris or the Netherlands and renting another car. She asked why not just take "The Chunnel" and I was like, "huh?"

Upon hearing of it and remembering that I've watched several shows on The Discovery Channel about it, I promptly wanted to smack myself, hehe.
