RUN ins with the cops

I seem to have more than my share of run ins with unmarked cops.this one took place earlier tonight while coming home.

I'm in the fast lane doing like 65.car come up behind me and flashes his lights, so I move over to let him pass.The guy moves over behind me still only 5 feet from my bumper. So I floor it but if you know anythgin about Hondas, I aint going nowhere fast in 5th, so downshift to third, and I picked up 1/2 ft of torque but it's enough to get me pulling ahead a bit as i merge over yet again.

So now were up to like 85 and I'm gettign concerned cause this guy is sticking ot me like glue. I go around a couple o cars and he catches up to me after a few seconds. Man I'm looking somewher to run cause I can't make out the guy in the car and I cant even make out the car well.I take the next exit, and stop at the light. I see him pull up beside me so I roll down my window to give him a bit of my jamaican tongue, and it's a blue Crown Victoria with a Crew cut 40 something glaring at me.

Man talk about surprised. here I was up to 90mph with a cop on my @ss with out me knowing it!!He kept looking ant me even when his light changed then he drove off. Talk about being scared sh itless!!!!!!!

So do you peeps have any cop stories to tell? What about teh tickets you've got.p.s. the only ticket I've had is while returning a stupd Ryder moving truck. They dont cathc me in ma civic but a big Yellow truck going 74 in a 55 zone catches their eye, i wonder why?

i was doin about 95 one day on I95 and a cop came up behind me put on his lights and drove along side me then gave me the thumbs down , and he just drove off. I had to celan my pants after that one 17y.o. doin about 40mph over the speed limit= license revoked.

ive got onekinda liek that but any, i flelt like feeling a little wind in my face,so im on the highway troh it in 3rd then into 4th and i hit about 115-120mph then shfit into 5th and let it ride out. then i look up and see a baltimore county po shift over and ride right up my *** and at this point im doin about 90. so i know he caught at least going 90 mph and maybe he was there for the slow down from 120. But maybe his radar was workin b/c my dtecetor never went off so he jus pulls up next to me and curses at my as i roll up my window (yes im a smart ***, and probly pushing my luck.) then he jus speeds off and i pul off to my exit

i was goin down Scottsville Rd. (the "main" road in BG) and i was speedin like 5-7mph. not thta much, right? i see a city cop goin the other direction, pull a u-turn, and come up on my butt fast. he stays there, i slow down, fixin to pull over, when i slow down he whips it over into the next lane and floors it. i about died, cause i only had my permit. but i only have it for 5 more days, i hope.

Oh wait I do have one! I had my system on full power and this cop who apperently was in a rush to the donut shop was behind me for an entire minute think about this. So when my fav song was over I checked the rear view mirror and made a puddle. This guy had his lights sirens the whole nine yards you name it on behind me for over a minute. I was the only one on the road too. So I pull over immediatly and manage to roll down the window and He was BULL****, he was sreaming at the top of his lungs cursing *****ing swearing etc... Then he drove off to get his donuts. I was only going 50 in a 45. When he asked me questions I could only stutter too

Here're a couple not so good stories:

I was going north on IH35 in south Austin after work. My mom and I had disputed about how long it took me to get home from work and it ended in her saying there was no way I could do it in 20 minutes. Challenge right?? So, anyways I'm doing 95, the speedlimit was 55. An unmarked black sedan comes up behind me and the red and blues start going off in the grill. I get off the highway and pull over. The cops (yes, two of them came to my window) told me I was only going 85 (whew!). So, they start filling out the ticket over behind my car. One of the cops comes back to my window and of all things asks where he's supposed to write my driver's license number! So I get out of the car (suddenly realizing I had no shoes on) and go help them fill out the ticket. After that, they were nice enough to only write me up for 75 in a 55.

Another ticket I got was in south Austin. I was going through some residential roads near my work. I come over a hill and there's a motorcycle cop standing next to his bike on the side of the road. He steps into the middle of the road and puts up his hand signalling me to stop. I figured, hey he needs help, his bike is busted. Surprise surprise, he just wanted to ticket me. That one was for 43 in a 30...didn't even know I was speeding

i got pulled over just down the street from my house...so close i could see it...i stop as soon as i saw those light so that i would be as far away from my house as possible cause it turns out my dads work truck was in the driveway (lunch break)...as the cop walks up to my window i start to squim around...he asks why im squirming in my seat so i tell him i have to take a MAJOR s*** (lying of course) and that my house is right there...immediately he lets me go...i guess this guy knows what its like to have to lay down a big one :moon

About undercover cops...

My friend was driving around in his car, he must have been speeding a bit on the main Blvd in our town, so he turns down a street and sees a green car following him. He turns down his street and its still following him. He passes his house, and literally goes in a circle around a few blocks (moving away from his house) like 3 times. He's scared cause in our town, and the surrounding area, Civics are prime targets for thefts, and he's worried since his is swapped, and kinda quick. He thinks its someone trying to find out where he lives. Finally he gets pissed, speeds down his street, pull in his driveway, and gets out holding his little league bat. Guy rolls down the window and asks him what he was doing....turned out to be two detectives reprimanding him for going to fast. My friend proceeds to tell them off saying if they wanted to they should have just pulled him over, he was scared he was being chased blah blah blah....they just left. I'm assuming they didn't pull him over because they were in a "taxicab" copcar, and if they pull someone over, everyone sees that that is their undercover car.

As far as the system thing. My younger brother (18) is the most cautious driver I know, he's never gotten a ticket...So he's driving at school and gets pulled over. He's shook cause he had no clue what he did wrong. Turns out the cop pulled him over because he wanted to check out his "system" (which is just one 12). So he HOPS IN THE PASSANGER SEAT and tells him to crank it up....when my brother told me I was pissing my pants, cause he called my up right after it happened.

was on my way to a fund raiser for school with a group of fellow workers. we were driving up in Bells, TX. i was behind one of the dads, my friend's dad, and thought it would be funny to pass him. well i waited and waited till we were on this two lane road. i made sure no cars were coming and moved over to the other lane. i punched it and was up around 110-115 in a 60. i passed him quickly and moved back over into the right lane....only to notice that the car coming towards me had lights on it. i hit the brakes and start trying to downshift, but was panicing so bad i couldnt. as i pass him, all i get was a scarey glare coming from him cause he was in hurry and going around 80. i was so damn scared i was shaking. 17 y.o., going 50 over, on a school related trip, not good.

i was goin about 33-35 in a 45 one day, residential road. @ about 10pm on a fri night. Talkin my cell, mindin my business. when i get off the cell i go back up to 45 and look behind me, super bright hweadlights, like highbeams plus sum. this dude was like 1 ft from my bumper. i think, drunk dude. so i speed up. he rides me again. . . only 8 inches. . .happens 3 more times. . . im goin 75 in a 45 with thwe dude like 6 inches from my bumper.

i was jjust about to slam on my breaks, get in a wreck, say i had whiplash. . when BAM. . . .Blue lights and the siren come on

Man, unmarked cops are tricky. Luckily, once you've seen a few in one particular area, they're pretty easy to spot (around here they use monotone silver or black 'Vics or Marquis).

around here, we have a white camaro and a white mustang driving around trying get people to race. little did these people know they were racing an unmarked cop. they got all kinds of ricers and sports guy driving around in the trans ams daddy bought to race them. after a month, everyone knew the cars, and they were useless against ticketing street racers

Stupid chick in my speech class openly claims that she street races... I just shook my head, she came in wearing a "NOPI Chick" shirt this morning, but I don't mind the rest of the shirt, what little shirt there was. People around here think their car is faster with a NOPI sticker, Altezzas, rims, cut springs, fart cans/tips (I see a blue, yes BLUE fart tip daily). It's really out of control here.

I was following a guy all the way from my exit on i-90 and we were goin about 85 the whole way. Once you hit Issaquah, it slows to 60, but we continued at 80. Over a little hill, i notice a bike on the side of the road. Oh sh*t, I thought. My first ticket. He gets between the two of us, and pulls us both over. Here's teh convo:

"Hey there. I lazed you at 77 in a 60, son." "Yes sir.""Can I see your liscence?""Sure."

Walks over to the other car, gets his liscence, and goes to his bike to write them down. Comes back:

"I'm gonna ask you to slow down."

Gives my liscence back, and he takes off. I was like :-0. 17 over in a 60, ha! It was teh first time I was pulled over, too. It was like 2 months after I got my 240. Ha! I rule!

Oh yeah, and then about 2 months ago I got a ticket for 36 in a 25. Pffft, lame *** cop. I mitigated it. Still haven't got a response. Damn slow courts around here.

A little long but heres my story (Honest to God, this is a true story)

My brother had just given me his Toyota the day after X-mas, it needed a little work and he was gonna get rid of it so took it. He told me to leave it at his house overnight because the taillights weren't working and it was getting dark. I only lived a couple blocks away so i told him i wasn't worriedand that i would take the car that night. So I drive it home and i seen a bunch of cops i but none of them stopped me so i'm thinking everything was cool. So I start pulling into my driveway and as i'm about to park a cop car fly's in flashing his lights and puts the spotlight on me. They yell at me to get out the car. I get out and they got guns pointed at me. When I seen that I was scared sh!tless. I didn't know what was going on. I got frisked, they checked my car( it was completely empty' except for some fuses cause i had just got it) then they made sit in the car while they checked my information. I explained to one of the cops, it got dark and i could'nt put the fuse in for the taillights because i couldn't see. That when he told me why he stopped me. There just so happened to be a fight up the street and there were reports of someone having a gun so when they saw me pulling in they thought i had the gunand was trying to sneek in unnoticed with my lights off. They apoligized and left after my info came back clean. I'll never forget that them bastards scared the s*** out of me.

Unfortunately ill only give you a few examples of my blatant disregard for cops or the speed limit(Speed limit_ thats like when my governor kicks in).

Same cenario as the beginning otf the thread, Im doin about 80 get to a strait on I-10 where i can get to about 100 come up to some cars a little slowing and weaving, the whole time i saw this car in my rear and Im thinkin he wants to mess around. So I speed up weave in and out a little more and finally doin about 85 he hits the lights. ""Do you know you almost clipped that car back there.""No sir(yeah!!!)" "Let me see your license"Give him my liscense, and remark politely as possible "would you also like my registration and insurance"."yes" he replies.The ever famous reply "Do you now how fast you were going back there?""No, Sir"(yeah right)The other famous response." where you headed?"" Im on my way from work, sorry for the problem officer"."Alright then drive more carefully next time". "Yes sir"Irony off this particular case, the week before my friend who drives an old volvo got a 200 ticket for doin 85 in the same area.(To bad state police got him!) About a month ago I just got offf work , I had worked for 15hrs that day and was crazy tired. Dropped a couple of friends off at a bar right by work(I work in the french quarter), well take a right accel a little and next thing you know some cop workin a bar runs in the street and tells me to pull over. He asks me where im headed and for my liscense, so i ablidge and ask what i did. Hes says i took off to fast and he thinks ive been drinking. So next thing you know and undercover unit with 5 more cops pulls next to my ride, not to mention within 1 more minute 6 more cops turn the corner,all undercover. So now i have 12 to 14 copps bsin around my car. He runs my name and gets my record, which has no convictions, but a couple of run ins. then they dig thruogh my car ask me somemore bs questios and after about 20 mins decide to let me go. i also have a blatant disregard for police.... so one night its like 4:30am me an my friend were in some neighbor hood doin some dirt.. well we pull out on to a secondary main road an as im passing a guys house that i knew did some Gta's an stuff, about the time we were doing our ****. i notice a late 90's cutlass with tinted windows sitting across the street in a entrance to a church, an as im passing somthing inside moves quik, and i cant see anyone but the car is bouncin like some one just ducked for cover. well i pass normally, and slow around a bend down to like 25 an sho nuff, i see him coming up behind me. well i take off legal speed and he stays a good 300ft behind me so finnally i com to a left hand at a light and. i wait for it to go green and hes coming up slow like. and i take off normal and bust up to the limit and its like 50. hes keeping up but at that 200ft distance. well i decide to check his *** n slow to 15. and he slows and stays back so as i aproach a right hander i take the F off and, i take a qwick left on to a dead end road and whipp around facing out with my lights off ,here he comes like a bat out a hell and starts to turn, i flip on the lights and fly towards him he diverts and goes up the street im going towards, so i chase him he flys down a road to the right and i fly by and dart down another left hand road, and do the same thing he of course comes after me againg an i proceed to chase him agin. he turns into an aparment complex n i pass. he turns aournd an starts to go back towards his city limits, and i follow, and we begin to hit speeds in excess of 90mph as i chase him for like 5 miles, we get into his city and i turn off and dart back into another district. well we decide to go home and clean out my car an get everything legal. and go back out to tha road we chased him on... see this road is out of their city limits by like 100ft an they couldnt touch us. well we go up the road an pass like 8 crusiers stratgicly parked. we get to the top of the road and get gas as two pass us by, and then we take off at 35mph back down the road,and as we passed each crusier they fell in line by the time i got to the road we orginaly started our pursuit on i had almost an entire citys police force following us and they didnt do ****.... but later that night as i get home at liek 5:30 6 am.im walking in the front door an that cutlass pulls down my street an passes me at like 5mph i give him the finger an come off my porch yelling at him he drives off and.... thats that tha night

month later i was aressted for recieving stolen property an i come to find out it was a survalence team an the detective that aressted me was who i chased, an he yelled at me for like 3 hrs about me thinking i was cool slick a bad *** na how stupid i was an blah blah he interigated me for liek 5hrs before puting me into lock up an not once would they let me get a lawyer the were crooked bastards that need some driving lessons badly sorry its so long but it was an awsome experience an ill never regret it makes you feel like a super hero or somthin

This is before I had a car and used to borrow my sister 92 TercelI am comming back from a party, it is like 2 something and was going to meet up with some friends at a denney's. I am going down the freeway, going the speed limit (the damn car wouldn't go any faster!) this 50 rolls up next to me. stares me down and then speeds up a little. I usuallyt nodd or waive or somethign but this time I sensed an evil look so I just stared right back at him. He then slows down gets behind me and rides my *** for a good 5 minutes. I was like 30 min away form where I was going. sure enough, in like 5-7 min... he turns his lights on. I'm like WTF!! I knew I didn't do $hit... I pulled over... I sat there in my car for a while for the cop to come to me... he waited in the car... another couple of minutes go by and I see 2 cruisers pull up behind him one pulls up infront of me and 2 cops on bike on each side. I have in total 4 cars adn 2 motorcycle's now. I'm like Fu@K WTF is going on. they pull out their guns and come charging on me. They pull me out of the car, cuff me and have me sitting on the side of the road for more than 30 min while the tear up my sisters car... no one told me anything while this was going on.... once they didn't find anything.. they came over un cuffed me and said that they had a call of a guy who just robbed a store that fled in the same car as mine. Same discription as me. But the part that I hate was that they didn't even say SORRY! they just gave me back my keys and said, ur free to go.. those sonsa*****es!

two weeks ago i was in atlanta. never seen one good car(modded that is.) i saw i crap load of ghetto'd junk mobiles. didn't see anything like you described, but both description are not good

This happen to me like 2 months ago. Well i was driven normaly for about an hour just cruisen by my self. (got a new car) well i look be hide me and there is a cop. so i was like o well i ant doing anything wrong. Well they fallow me for about 4 blocks and then i made a left turn in to micky Ds. They come to my car and said please step out. so i said ok. and he procided to ask me do you know what you did wrong? and i said nope. They said ok, then they asked me if they could search me. and i said ok. after that they asked me to go sit in their cop car while they searched my car. so i said ok. Well the searching lasted 40 mins with dogs and everything. All the people at Micky Ds were staring at me in the cop car. well after their done doing there searches they come up to me and say "why are you acting so fishy?" and i said i am acting my normal self. Then they said "what do you think of cops" and here is EXACTLY what i said "I hate you guys, you pull me over for **** like this when i did nothing wrong. Then you procide to search my car and dont even tell me why you pulled me over. Thats WHY I HATE YOU GUYS!" well after that they said ok and let me go. Well when i got back into my car i noticed something. My door was broken and my ash tray was broken and the passenger door panneling fell off. i jumped out of my car and started yellling (bad choice) the jump out and slam me to the ground and take me in to jail. then mom has to come bail me out for 500 bucks. I was grounded for 2 months from my car. But inthe end i did get my revenge. I took the stearns county sherifs deptment to cournt and got 800 bucks for damage to my car. after i won in court my mom gave me permission to drive my car again:)

i was there over the summer, yea my uncles a cop in town so i know hes probably out there dealin with all the **** that goes down there. crazy place. for real with the yardies online i think this is is first for me haah. i was down there and i got a 56k from Cable Wireless and they wanted to charge me 32000 for a month because they said i signed up for the 30 hour plan and used like 500 hours. I should spend more time down there... i bet i can make mad billz doing networking and computers theres so much money in that down there. you can aim me: KhaosDefcon

Here's a story about pure luck:

My friend was driving me home from school (this was before I had my 240) and were coming up on a light. When we get a little closer, it turns yellow and he guns it, and says, "I'm gonna make it."

He didn't make it. We missed the light by about 2-3 seconds and on top of that went blowing through the intersection at around 90 in a 45.

About 50 yards past the intersection, after we reamrked how much we had missed that light by, we both happen to look in the mirriors and notice... a cop making a right right behind us.

My friend took the first sidestreet we came to, and the cop took it after us. Fortunately, we know that sub- division like the back of our hands, so were weaving around for about 2 mins and we finally lose him.

After my friend dropped me off, he told me that he passed the same cop, but going the other direction. He gunned it home and thanked his lucky stars. It was great. :ylsuper
