RUMOR: IPL Infiniti M37 and M56

Infiniti already expressed a slight interest in challenging AMG, Quattro, M, and F with the Infiniti Performance Lineup, but if recent reports from Japan are correct, company officials are ready to step up its performance game effortsa notch or two.

Thanks to Best Car magazine, we bring to you very early sketches of a proposed high performance M56-based sedan. If produced, power from the 5.6-liter V-8 can be expected to jump well above the regular edition’s 420 horsepower, as can suspension be significantly revised for better handling and a lower ride height.

We wouldn’t be surprised if the now 14-inch Akebono brakes grow slightly to reign in any extra speed. And of course, what’s a performance sedan without a bolder aerodynamic package and bigger wheels.

Looks interesting! body lines are much more defined compared to the current design. it almost reminds me of the new E-class.

what are your thoughts on this?

I like the look way more than the current M56, but it still looks funny

i don't see it as a radical change, and i like the thought of dealer serviceable performance that is covered by the warranty

if they do it the same as the IPL G it's not gona be worth the money

like the look but they really need to step up their game with the performance upgrades. would be nice if they actually had a car that went against the M, AMG, F lines

And i've got the 14'' big brake kit on my 08' that wasn't on 51k 2011 coupes? pssh.

Come on with that mess....

I want a M56 so bad, but I will wait to see what they have in store on this IPL M56 ^^
