Have a 2000 anniversary edition,runs great but..
First start of the day, runs like new, firing on all 8,great throttle response,no blips along the way. It's when it reaches operating temp things go sideways.
Lots of hesitation, seems like it's missing a spark, codes say knock sensor's and plug missing a firing, so the computer says it too. It doesn't say anything about the throttle position sensor which is showing its worn out self at certain throttle settings though.
Cars has 197K on it.

Knock sensor failure is pretty common.

How many miles on the current set of plugs?

Coil pack failure is also very common on that series of Q. The typical most permanent fix is to replace all 8 coil pack and plugs with new OEM parts.

The shop I got the car from told me a coil was replaced and all plugs were replace too. I,m going to go in the direction of a shorting out wire bundle under the right plastic valve cover and go from there. It,s odd that it runs so good when cold but acts up at temp. We'll see.
