i just installed tein HE's in the vert and my stupid stockers are rubbing against the bottom of the coils! Man i need some rims. Anyway, my question is does anybody know which direction i turn the little adjustment knobs to soften the ride or make it more ridgid? These were used and came without a userguide. Thanks in advance, and thanks to Chachi from Drift Brigade for the great hook up.

try putting some 5mm spacers behind your wheels.. That should take care of the rub I would think..

Sorry... I have no knowledge of how to adjust the coilovers.

Yes you need a 5mm spacer or different wheels.

For dampening adustment usually (like turning a screw) tightening it (clockwise) will make it harder, counter-clockwise to soften.

Don't go for thicker than 5mm spacers. Stock studs are not long enough. I think I saw universal 5mm spacers in Pep Boys.

Righty tighty, lefty loosey... You should count clicking sound, so you can set same.

hey thanks guys. i'm hopefully getting sportmax wheels with in the next week or so. i was gonna rub the stockers till they popped. Another great deal on them thanks to Drift Brigade. saving money here and there is gonna help my KA get machined so i can start the monster build. How much torque can a stock 5 speed take? Any opinions on axle companies?

Unless you are going for 400hp+ and a good amount of abuse (lot of drifting or something), then I wouldn't worry about axles or the transmission.

even witha 5mm spacer, i would almost recommend getting longer studs. i woudl do it for peace of mind if it were my car. street driving doesn't put the same forces on the studs that road racing or autocrossing does, but since i do do autocrossing, i would opt for the better safe than sorry scenario

+1 ^^^^ on my old wheels i had to run a spacer so i added extended studs and rarely even drive the car.

I put 60mm Nismo studs on mine to have a peace of mine and safety. Paid total $136 plus tax. I bought 17(one was extra) and it was $8 each. You gotta pay to play I guess. I ran 5mm spacers w/stock wheels & studs for a while and they were okay though.
