Rubbing noise

I noticed this morning a squeeling rubbing noise when I got on the road. The noise started at about 30 mph then died down. after about 10 min of driving the noise completely disappeared. I recently had my brakes checked because they always make a slight noise when i first start to drive, but the shop told me they had more than 50% left and that they had a little rust on the pads (most likely from my rim cleaner) and to not worry about my brakes right now. does anyone have an opinion on what the sound could be? it def sounds like a brake issue but i dont want tto spend the money to have them inspected again to hear the same thing form a mechanic.
