Rubber washers under the bolts for the valvecovers, is there a USDM interchange?

Guys, my valve covers insist on leaking. The rubber washers under the screws are smashed flat and not providing good clamping for the valve covers. The gaskets are all but new and not smooshed down too much.

Are there any usdm crosses for this part? Or should I just go snag bolts without shoulders?

Thanks guys - Evan

Or, take one to Ace Hardware and buy something similar for a nickel apiece.

Really????I had two gasket kits and they didn't come with it.

The only thing it had were the two valve cover gaskets themselves.I don't think It even cam with the Half moon cam seals either.I think I bought Z ones.

Yeah my RB20 gasket set didn't come with them either, and mine are toast.

Courtesy sells them for $1.83 each. How many are there, 10 on each cover? So $50 shipped for some little rubber grommets =/ I think I'll try to find some thick o-rings or something cheaper locally.

My motor was missing quite a few of those little bastards too. I just took one of them down to the local import junkyard and the guy there led me into a room full of junked heads and said "Have at it." I just matched up the grommet size to some random ones I found at the junkyard and slipped those ****ers in my pocket and walked out... Ultimate discount and I have yet to see any signs of a leak!

** I do not condone stealing, BTW, but $33 for some grommets is ricockulous.**
