I just got my spoiler lip kit - trust low down springs installed on my 1997 y33 and now I can't clear my driveway. I scrapes really bad.

I went ahead and bought some of these rubber spring boosters from kragen and it raised it about half an inch. I can clear my driveway now with no problems.

Is it OK to use these rubber boosters in between my springs? there seems to be no side effects with noise or handling, It just raised it up half an inch.

what you guys think ?

I used them with my Teins and it worked good. I went through a lot of them though. The Q is heavy. After about 2 weeks each set, They would blow apart and I would lose them.

is there a more permanent way to raise it up a bit ? I don't wanna have to keep replacing them.

Wait a minute.

This whole thread is about putting spacers on lowering springs so one can drive on a real world street?

I can't throw stones as I have Eibachs on the FY33, but one hit on a normal driveway and they would be gone too!

well my driveway is really narrow so I can't get in at an angle.

and plus I have a lip kit that extends the bumper downward about 2 inches.
