I may have to replace my headgasket so im wondering which one of these 2 is better. I am thinking the Fel Pro is better, but really what is the actual difference between a graphite and rubber headgasket?Which one should I buy?

Not sure what the difference is, someone here might know though. Can you drop the 'F-ing' from your 'f-ing money pithole' please? It violates the TOS and we try to keep things clean here.

Here is my Google search results for "graphite head gasket"http://www.google.com/#hl=en&q...becea

See the third link down (right under the shopping results). It says Ford used graphite head gaskets on the 3.8 v6. I remember my stepdad's 3.8 Sable blew a head gasket.

The first link says that most OEM gaskets are now multi-layer steel (MLS).

Sorry I couldn't give you anything more KA specific.

I think the rubber head gasket is really a rubber valve cover gasket.

The Fel-Pro Permatorque is multi-layer steel. The second link you posted is the Graphite one. I would go with MLS.

If you read the links I posted a few posts up, opinions are generally favored: MLS > Graphite.
