Rubber Mats for 2011 EX35

Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

I've just leased a 2011 EX35 yesterday. My previous(current) car is a 03 G35 which will be traded in.
I'm just wondering if I will be able to use the same rubber mats that are on G35, on the 2011 EX35 ? I've just bought the mats early this year from Infiniti, and it will be a waste to put include that in the trade in.

I'll most probably be picking my car either tomorrow or day after...so it will really be good to get some replies before !

Thanks !

Seriously doubt it but if you google Infiniti EX accessories, you can easily find a picture of the EX all-weather mats and compare to what you have.

They look really the same, which is why I'm asking. But my gut is telling me that they do not fit. Correct me if I'm wrong, I noticed that the front seat's width on is much tighter on EX35 than on G35.

I had an 03 G35 and bought the 11 EX35. The all weather mats will not fit. I ended up selling the G mats on Craig's List. I think they will fit up to the 07 year G.

Hey Tasman,

Thanks for this great info! Yup I guess it makes more sense to sell it on craigslist than to give it away with the trade in.. I'm still disappointed that I was afford $5.5k for my 03 G35 Luxury package..

If you have a Coupe, you may want to save your cargo net before you trade it in to see if it works in the EX. I know the newer model G37 Coupe net fits but not sure about the older models.

I've run Weather Tech Floor Liners in my last 3 european cars and think they are great. Anyone else use Weather Techs?

I like the Weather Tech floor liners also. But I find they are very slippery when wet. Have you found a way to make them less slippery?

As for the cargo net, the G35 net won't fit across the width of the cargo bay like the G37 net will, but you can hook it to the metal bars imbedded in the back of the back seats (I think they're a child seat fastener) and use it like that.

Wow thanks for mentioning ! I drive a G35 sedan and I do have the cargo net. I'll certainly be taking that off when I bring my car in for the trade-in tomorrow !

Note to self:
- remove rubber mats to sell on craigslist
- remove cargo nets to reuse on EX35
- try to use up as much gas as I can tonight
:chuckle:

One last note to yourself: do not give them that nice leather portfolio for the registration/insure slips. Infiniti does not give you a nice leather folder for that now. Had to go tot Walmart to buy a cheap plastic thing.

I have noticed they are a little 'slippery' when new but are fine after a little use.

Are you allowed to keep the wheel locks too? ;)

The G35 did not have wheel locks. Otherwise, there would have been one less lug on each wheel. LOL

(Actually, the EX had the locks thrown in with no charge.)
