Rubber fuel line on gas tank filler neck ?

I have a Nissan Maxima and have a leak on the rubber fuel hose comming out of the gas tank filler tube the hose is old and has a leak at the clamp connecting tio the metal tube. Is this a high presure line that needs bleeding off or can I simply remove the gas cap and un hook it to repace it ? Also can the other end be removed from the tank with out lowering the tank ? I appreciate any suggestions ! :help

Sounds like an EVAP line... just remove it and replace it with a petroleum approved rubber hose.
