On the 2007 G35 coupe after removing the engine cover I noticed a small rubber cap protruding out about one inch from the top left side of the manifold. I carefully removed this to find it was some sort of vacumn as I held my finger over it and it would seem to be a pulling pressure on my finger. I replaced the rubber cap. What is this used for? Could you attach a vacumn line to this for a manifold gauge to monitor pressure in HG? All help would be appreciated? Thank You, Gary

Yes, you can. Its just an unused vacuum port on the upper intake manifold.
