RSR springs = progressive

well here they are sitting on the floor, looking like progressive springs. I called RSR and confirmed they are in fact progressive but they could not give me more info the the spring rates (besides 5/4.2).

I just wanted to let every1 know since when I bought them I was under the impression these are linear.

Regret? No way. They look of very high quality, can't wait to get these on once the KYBs get here.

those are the "race" springs? I would have thought a race spring would be progressive.anyways, RS*R makes high quality stuff, I've always been impressed by reports of consumers who have them.-chet

yea those are the race or hard springs. They look very nice and high quality. I just thought I'd share this with every1 beacuse there seems to be a common misconception that these are linear.

Interesting - I bought the same springs recently. Haven't installed them yet due to bitter cold. But I was under the impression they were linear as well.

Not really a big deal to me either. After driving on the awful roads around here a progressive spring wouldn't be such a bad thing...

I think that may have been a typo or brain fart...linear springs are definately more common on the racetrack than progressive. Progressive springs are usually designed w/ the street driver in mind first.
