Special's good till the end of january. And seriously outtowin? Most of us don't have the resources to run a full on dyno tuned stand alone, so why hate on a reputable product?

You don't need stand alone, you just need some version of a daughter and a good tune done properly. Now my turn, seriously? your gonna just tell someone I have this and that and this, and trust the tune that comes back... Yea that might be okay, for getting it to the tuner and have a correct tune done.

Three things destroys FI motors.... oil issues, coolant issues, and problem tunes.

This isn't my first rodeo, I have built and owned a lot of modified cars, and I would never get a mail tune other then just to get a base map for starting and tuning correctly. And if you cant afford a proper tune with dyno run and AFR's, well then stop modifying your cars.

I'm not questioning your experience, but I have never, EVER read one report of an engine grenading because of an Enthalpy tune, and I've been researching KA-T projects for over 6 years now. Yes I'm sure you've been tuning cars for much longer than that and I'm not trying to start a d!ck measuring contest here, just trying to qualify my statements. The only bad traffic I've ever read about Enthalpy or JWT is that their tunes are too conservative, which is understandable given the inherent difficulties with tuning solely based on what components are being used. So in this respect I agree with you, that it would be more ideal to be able to tune live, on a dyno, in real time, to be able to squeeze that last 10% of the potential power out of your setup safely. But I still maintain that Enthalpy or JWT tunes are a perfectly safe alternative to the "retard timing/FMU/hope to God the stock injectors are good" setup or the "SAFC/tune by flooring it down the lane in front of your house" setup. Would you not agree?
