Hey, I have an RS5F31A that originally came out of my E16i Pulsar with fifth gear out in it. I put in one from an 87 sentra. I want to fix fifth gear in the original transmission because it has a lower final drive (it's fifth gear is like my fourth gear now). I've researched the pop-out fix and know what i need, i just wanted to see if the kit for the b13 sentra would still work for it. to my knowledge, i'm pretty sure the gear sets are the same between all the RS5F31A's, just the cases are different between different motors. So can anyone confirm for me that the parts for a B13 transmission would work in one for a B12? (the B12 E16 trannies are the same as the N13 E16 trannies)

I for one have no clue. The only thing I could think of would be to try and find the part numbers for each, and see if they are the same.

My gut says that it should work.
