RS-R Down Springs

i'm about to put in an order for RS-R Down Springs, and i kinda suddenly thought of something. my car has 205/50/16s on them and i know for a fact that my shocks are 90% dead, and buying new ones but i don't know how cheap i'm going for now.

now these springs lower my car by an estimate of 1.6/1.0 inch front/rear. i'm not going to have a problem with my tires brushing up against any part of my car, am i? if you guys speculate that it might, can you suggest what other items i might need to make it work?

also... springs are just another name for coil overs right?

dead struts will make the springs ride lower than they are supposed toalso, springs and not the same as coilovers
