Just want some opinions. All my drift/car buddies are telling me not to do it but i want input from the rest of the NICO community.

I have a Sr20det hatchback with drift mods ive done since ive had the car. Stance coils, front and rear strut tower brace, LSD, Greddy catback, new brakes etc. Also not to forget all those little things that i have replaced to make the car more reliable.

My Dillema: I am thinking bout selling/trading it for a nice s14 (probably near stock) with kouki headlights. Now alot of u are proably like, why downgrade?Well i had enough of no AC, no power windows, no cruise control, etc. Yeah its a lighter car without those luxuries but i rarely drift/go to the autox events. Also Ive always thought the kouki s14 is a much sexier car. Since i don't go to events much i just want a sexy clean s14 with coils and low offset wheels as my daily.

Question: Will i regret going from a drift ready SR20/coilovered hatch to a near stock kouki s14 with power everything?

IMO keep the car youve put time and money into and start saving so you can buy the s14 i mean why build something and then sell it...Keep your s13

you will regret the hell out of it man no a/c, power windows, and CC are minor inconveniences but all can be added to your current car with a little bit of work. if you really like the kouki front then make your car a s13.4 haha but in the end its your money/time and what we say wont effect your decision

I agree with the last comment, unless you need the cash try and get as much enjoyment out of the built car as you will never see the money invested returned even by half.

Most built 240's (at least S13s) seem to sell for around $6k to $8k, and the owner clearly invested close to $20k. Since no one is gonna pay you what you put into the car I would have fun with it while you can.

I'd stick with your current 240. We're always thinking the grass is greener on the other side. You'll just get bored of the stock KA power and eventually start building up the S14 anyways. Might as well stick with what you have until you have the money to buy a S14 kouki to daily. My nephew just bought a clean low mile S14 kouki for $5000. They're not very expensive.

a better idea is to get a daily and keep the s13.something that has all the options you want like a/c and power everything, and use the 240 as a weekend/track car.

ooor you can try to find a clean s13 shell on the cheap with power options, swap everything over (if possible), then sell the old shell and buy sr AC. just my 2 cents

do it if you get some cash on top. you can get an SR later on for cheap, and it's not that hard to have AC.
