Ok, such a newb question, but here goes. Did a search on this, and couldn't come up with something decent, but what's the difference between the different letters before S13 in the chassis code? like RPS13, PS13 etc

here it goes now and forever for people to search...

S13 CHASSIS CODES

R = fastback, no R = coupe.

P = SR engine, H = KA24E, M = KA24DE, and none of these = CA engine.

RPS13 = SR20DE(T) fastback = JDM 180SX 91-98PS13 = SR20DE(T) coupe = JDM Silvia 91-94RS13 = CA18DE(T) fastback = JDM 180SX 88?-90S13 = CA18DE(T) coupe = JDM 180SX 88?-90*S13 is a general code as well as a specific one....dont ask.

RMS13 = KA24DE fastback = USDM 240SX 91-93MS13 = KA24DE coupe = USDM 240SX 91-93 (i think convertible falls into this category but not sure)RHS13 = KA24E fastback = USDM 240SX 89-90HS13 = KA24E coupe = USDM 240SX 89-90

Time is never wasted. Just spent schooling idiots like myself. Looked at the vehicle ID plate on mt car, and the verts do fall under the MS13 category
