RPMs to high???

I got a s13 240sx which we did a sr and manual swap. Car runs good but rpms seem a little high. At 50 I'm already at 3000. At 70 i'm sitting at 4000, way to high. I talk to a few people with sr and they say they're maybe at 2500 at 50. Could it have something to do with the stock rear end? Tuning? I know its not my gauges because at 50 it reads 3000 and turbo is spooled and ready to go.

did you throw one penny into tuning when you installed it? tuning would be my guess..

Its got a stock set up.... like sidemount and stock ecu. stock boost so i don't think it has anything to do with tuning.
