So when im braking, especially at a significant speed, coming to a stop, my lights dim and RPMs drop about 2-3, sometimes 4-5 hundred. when i lift my foot off the brake it returns to normal idle...I changed the battery ground, it helped a tiny bit, the radio doesnt reset anymore...Im thinking bad brake light ground? or just old alternator? any input?

i have not done that, would this account for the lights and rpms to drop?

If your RPMs drop, naturally your electronics will dim somewhat. I don't know if this is your prob but I had a similiar prob. It would almost stall when stopping at a stop sign or red light. Cleaned my IACV and I was good to go. Try it!

lights can/will dim when the car threatens to stall. Anytime i'm playin' in the 240 and if I'm not paying attention and it almost stalls, the lights will dim.

Vacuum lines leaking can lead to s*** idle and brake booster line is much bigger than most, and the booster is actuated when you press the brake, so i'd start there, it's a 2.00 fix and easy to check.

I would think vacuum or a regulation problem. Check the booster and vacuum lines for leaks, maybe gave the alt tested.
