My RPM's drop at around 3000rpms;55-60mph with the O/D button pushed.

Need some more info, what exactly is going on? I tried reading it over and over but cant see what your trying to say lol. Maybe its just me.

is ur o/d off? then thats ur problem, i think it uses the transmission to slow the car down. like engine breaking.

When i push the button, mine says o/d off on the gauge cluster. ???????maybe im just reading it wrong?

No, you're reading it correctly. The normal situation is Overdrive On, so that when you are at a high speed the engine can run at lower rpm. When you push the button it turns Overdrive Off, which is what the light shows. The engine will run at higher rpm.

Normally I use it when I'm starting from a stop and want better acceleration, or when I'm going slowly up a grade when I don't want the transmission "shifting" to a higher gear range.
