OK this is the best way i can describe this.when i come to stop weather it be traffic light stop sign my idle dips for a second then recovers you can feel the car shake for a hot second and then back to normal. A guy on here said i twas his dirty throttle body so i had the dealer clean it and he said they reset the idle relearn. now this doesn't happen all the time but i have noticed it more sense they've done the cleaning.

There is a thread on here about a software update fixed the issue can't find it. and the the car only does this when at a stop and not all the time its getting annoying to say the least. there is a bunch of G37 threads about the same thing but nothing on the M37 same engine i think right? any thoughts. and no SES light

Does it ever sputter or feel like its stutters when driving? Has the SES light ever blinked and then turned off?

Should be somewhere on this forum. It's the same for all M's. Also, you can try disconnecting the battery overnight.

You can try raising the idle via the dealer and see what happens.

I've had this happen in some recent cars w/ no detrimental affects. I think it's kind of a factor of fuel injection systems. There are times where the computer fluctuates in how much fuel and/or air is given. I would suggest trying to reset the ECU and see if it goes away. I take it this happens very infrequently, if so, I wouldn't worry too much about it (just my experience from my '99 contour svt and an '04 volvo V70R that both had these episodes).

I thought I'd get more response on this but anyway, the car is at the dealer for this issues I was telling the service guy about the Idle and also the battery drain issue he didn't seem like he heard about it so I'm hoping they get a good tech on my car. Or I'll be stuck paying diagnostic fees for nothing

My 2012 M37x does the exact same thing, but I never worried much about it. It's always after coming to a stop at a light, too, just a half second of low RPM and rough idle. I attributed it to the moronic transmission doing something retarded again (god I hate that thing).

I'd be interested if you ever do find a cause and/or remedy, though.

well I got the call back from the dealer and the only TSB out for the Idle is the TB cleaning and Idle relearn, so I've done the cleaning but he's doing the relearn again maybe wasn't done correctly. for the battery drain they did a load test on my battery and it failed badly so new battery total 175.00 installed, I was going to get a new battery anyway, i didn't want to pay them diagnostic fees for nothing.

so i got the car back and the Idle seems much better they did a Idle relearn and the throttle positioning relearn as well. They also made sure the car was't drawing any power when the car is off. But the battery failed the load test (Auto craft)they said its was junk so we'll see new Infiniti battery I'l lhave to drive for a bit to see if the idle is truly fixed but so far so good :)

Oddly enough I've had good luck doing an throttle position, idle air volumn, AND cam position learning to help with those issues. Does the car cold start and idle fine? If I can't get it to cold start and idle smooth I always do throttle bodies. Infiniti throttle bodies are EXTREMELY sensitive.
