OK I've read that CA stock internals can take 9000rpm safely. Is this true?

I am planning to tune one without changing the bottom end. Injector size? What kind of duration do i need to carry the power throughout the power band with a GT2860RS.

Track CarI want to increase the RPM so any suggestions or criticism is fine.

Jap spec engine has a redline of 7700 and the German spec 7400 (i have this one) the stock lifters are good for about 8200 before valve float occurs. Why do you need to rev that high? there is really no power to be made beyond 7000 unless you are running a crazy big turbo that doesnt decide to start making boost till 5000rm.

what is with everyone wanting to spin a ca past 8k rpms??? there is no point, it isnt cool, did i mention there is no point and isnt cool?no offense OP but it gets old when everyone asks the same question. ur engine will only be making noise and not making power. shift at redline. its high enough and nothing will blow.

If only you knew how much money was thrown at that car. It is done to boggle your mind, so unless you're rich as hell and want them to build you one, don'tbe sweatin' that 9000rpm because they are not making that much power in that area either.
