RPM needle and temperature needle starts dancing WTF???

whats up nico lovershere is situationi relocated my battery to the trunk for FMIC set upand then everything was fineexcept this problemwhen im driving my RPM needle and temperature needle startsgo up and down like crazy its like dancing and ****what would be the problem??? this **** freaking me out man lol

good question. my tach occasionally goes nuts when the car is cold. my speedo has also started reading crazily on occasion(HUD).

Bad ground.

it can be a slew of things, sensors going bad, wire going bad, the actual cluster could be going bad. I had issues with tach and speedo, swapped out the cluster never had a problem since. Try swapping out a cluster see if it continues.

Bad ground. Mine did similar things when i had a bad ground.

My aftermarket one did until I grounded it.

They are right in the fact that either your battery is not grounded to earth properly or the battery cables you're using are not thick enough to conduct the amount of electricity and continuity to make the car function properly.

alot of the interior modules can be shorted by blown fuses on the driver side kickbox. my car went crazy when one of those fuses were blown and i put a new one in and it was all fixed. check ur fuses and grounds. most likely the ground somewhere tho lol

hmm so where did you guys ground your wire to??i run 4 gauge wire and i grounded to the trunk but i re did to under the back seat and i check the all the fuese under the dash it still doese itbut this time ONLY temp needle... damn this thing bothers me lol

Your battery ground sound like it should be fine.

Make sure you have a very good cable grounding the engine and transmission to the chassis.

Okay here was the problemi regrounded my battery to the trunk, THEN ground engine to the chassisthat was the problem once i ground my engine to the chassie everything was fine! THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR ALL YOUR HELP AND TIPS ETC...i really appreciate it !!! NICO CLUB IS THE BEST
