RPM issue on PF@ 100km

My 02 pathfinder(176km) has been giving me issues lately. I use to be doing 100km@2kPM. Now its doing 90@2kPM. Any clue that the problem would be And please don't tell me its the transmission.

It's in the transmission. Or the speedo or the tach.

An automatic, right?
