I just finished up on my swap, car runs. everythings hooked up to my knowledge but its ahving some problems. the car starts and idles perfectly, but when you throttle it it revs only maybe 2k rpms and hits a hesitation and wont go hire. anyone have any suggestions on what it could be? i have a buddy coming to help set my timing on saturday with a gun.

one thing that i should point out is that i havent had the chance to weld the bung to the cold pipe to attach the hose that routes under the intake. im not sure if that would have this siggnificant of an affect but it might.. ??

Have you pulled codes from the ECU yet? That is ALWAYS your first place to start when the car runs like crap.

A bad maf/incorrect maf wiring will make the ECU cut ignition at 2000 rpms.

set your timing, then pull your codes.

and that hose should only be affecting your idle, but if its not hooked up, did you plug it? if you didnt, then you should have a boost leak among other things
