hi everyone. first time posting here, looks like a nice place :)

i got an infiniti j30 95. its got a lot of little problems that i decided to try to fix myself. but i am not so good with cars, but i do learn fast.

when my car is on my rpm gauge gradually increases. goes all the way to the maximum past the numbers and everything. but this is very slowly like over 30 min of driving. before it did not work at all and once or twice it was perfect. would like some advice on this plz.

my sunroof leaks a lot too. only if i take it to a car wash. never has it leaked on a rainy day either. i looked at guides online and looks like a big job to replace it. maybe i just have to replace the black rubber seal or clean out the drain?

ty in advance.

Not sure on the Tach issue but you might want to make sure the sunroof drain holes aren't plugged up.
That's a prob I had.
On the front left and right corner are drain holes that will clog up with leaf debris ect.
I reamed mine out with weed wacker line and all was well after.

The instrument cluster(speed, tach, etc) is known to fail over time. First step is to disconnect the instrument gauge cluster, clean all contacts and reconnect. Sometimes this solves the problem.

ok i just used some weed whacker line to clean out the drain on the sunroof. i would not say it was dirty or anything or maybe i need something firmer. i am too afraid to try going in a car wash to test it lol.

i tried to remove the instrument cluster but not sure what screws i need to remove and i am afraid to break something.i tryed to look for an online guide on how to remove it but i have not found one. If you do know of one plz link it for me. :)
