rpm don't pass 1,000

either take it out of 5th gear, or go to the tech section with a better description of your problem, this is general, so you get general answer

:rotflmao cough, yes take this to the 240sx technical or the Nissan Online Mechanic sections of the board. Thats why those sections are here, to help with problems.

try like.. fule injector cleaner, and new air filter and change the oil.. tho i dont know if any of that will help its worth a try

the engine prefers large amounts of water instead of any other 'starter fluid' remedies.

Yeah I know!! Because the engine will run cooler and it won't have such a hard time running past 1k rpm!! Thanks for reminding me:D.

PS Guys, dont be telling him that stuff. He might do it, if he is like I use to be, and knows nothing about cars. Thankfully I am better educated these days. (Got to get educated when your rides keep breaking down.)

That's how I learned to work on my 240, about every part that could possibly break on me has, and I can't really afford to pay a mechanic to do the work for me so I learn to do it myself. I like learning tho, and I can do just about anything on my car.
