ive used the motor oil, ive done test with rp, redline, and mobile one. i think that mobile one is just as good if not better. royal purple was like almost 3 bucks more a quart for me but shouldnt be an issue for you. go ahead and use it, i dont think you would be dissapointed with it. for the diff fluid and transmission fluid couldnt help yah.

Always worked great for me. I've used gear oil and motor oil...an extra dollar for a bottle of oil and gear oil compared to Mobil 1 prices; can't beat that.

I only run Royal Purple 10/30 engine oil in my SR,since day one..And i love it. Its the best motor oil out there IMO..I wouldnt put anything esle in my baby..I also only use OEM Nissan oil filters..The best combo around.. transmission and Diff get Redline.

well i got this in along with the koyo, and now am hooking up my boost gauage, i was looking at the diagram that i found when i searched, and it shows the vac line on the leftside of the tb, being for the boost gauge and back to the fpr. but mine already has by boost controller there. then it shows the other one going to the bov. but mine runs to a t, which go's into my boost control solenoid and ny bov, then the ohter side of the solenoid go's to the actuator... So my question is where the hell do a tap in for the boost gauge???? Thanks alot

I actually tried both this time last year and I didnt notice the difference until last summer, I like royal purple better when the temps go up. I think the turbo likes it more expecially when I add Zmax. I was told at a drag shop in south Atl that they tested the oils when the motor was hot and got 3-5 more horses consistantlly on their domestic V8 street/drag cars. So they use royal purple for everything when they are racing but some other stuff for daily build and testing cause its costs, but it wasnt mobil 1 either it was another cheaper synthetic

I just bought my first 240 with a SR20 in it, and have alot to learn. I was wondering if your could use a Boost/vacuum gauge (like an autometer 4301) on the stock SR turbo setup?
