I am sorry madmax I am unsure I understand your question. Are you asking us if we like it?

I have never used it , but I am sympathetic tio niche manufacturers like that.

Having said that, they aren't real forthcoming about teh actual class of base oil used.Even their MSDS, is mum and just uses terms like "synthetic" w/o anything more.

My guess is this means they are a group III at best.(MOBIL1 + redline are Group IV and V respectively)

Group III's can be very good oils ( Chevron Supreme and Valvoline SynPower come to mind) and RP claims a great additive package but then so does everyone else.

I am sure its a good oil, but I have no indications of it being an unusually good oil.

Hmm , I better go check what req's it meets for an indication.

Hmm, I went to their website again.

It does meet API SL in most weights, but then so do a lot of other oils.No bragging about meeting GM4718M, ACEA A1,A5 or A3.

Which makes me presume they dont meet them otherwise they would mention it, since those are among the more tougher standards usually met only by synthetics or the best blends (Valvoline Durablend 10w-40 meets ACEA A1)

Fred,Thanks for the in depth info on oil. I've been using Mobil 1 10w-30 in my 91Q, but you have convinced me to switch to 0w-40.Brian
