I was down there a couple years ago for a Wu-Tang show, and it happened to be the same weekend as Route 66. It's a great gathering. It was huge, ALOT of people and cool cars. I liked how they blocked the streets off and let the cars just cruise around.

I want a chopped top '50 merc painted a gloss black that shoots 20 ft. flames, that would so kick ***, oh yeah, with a built 429 Super Cobra Jet too!

I like 10 feet from Route 66 and I don't give a crap. Bunch of old men "remembering" what it was like in the "olden" days when they weren't actually alive when Route 66 was used.

dont worry about it, k240. some of us have a passion for cars. others just like flashy lights and noises.

Ahhh the err of your ways...

More like "we don't care about the history of Route 66 enough to go out of our way to visit a celebration about it."

People with neon lights are easily distracted by shiny objects long enough to steal their wallets. Money they would have wasted on more neon lights anyway.

I like motorcycles with neon lights (not Harleys or any other cruiser or dirtbike, just big balls needed sport bikes), about the only thing cool with them, though I was watching SCCA racing on Speed and one of the M3's racing had some yellow neons on it, it was at night of course

a yellow M3 on the track would be just fine with neons. whatever. but the Olds 88 with curb feelers and purple neons...ditch 'em.
