Ok the Doc is almost done with the completion of orders for Round 1, the pictures and feedback speak for themselves

The Doc needs some SERIOUS commitments to be able to produce a 2nd Round of these Amazing kickplates.

Here's the potential baseline prices for the Brushed Alumnium overlay.. this is for "Nissan" or Altima" lettering

$190 for Illuminated Kickplates+ $25 priority shipping & Handling to US destinations$40 Express International shipping to non US destinations

add +$15 for "nismo", add + $20 for carbon fiberadd +$50 for customadd + $75 if I have to provide the kickplates

So, for example:

If YOU provide me your own aluminum kickplates, and you only want brushed alimnium with "Nissan", the price would be $215 (190 + US Shipping)

If I supply your kickplates and you want carbon fiber overlay with the custom words "ABC-DEFG" on it, total price shipped would be

$190 + $75 + $20 + $50 + $25 = $360

Now the above is the most expensive scenario.

OK folks, so those are the prices.. if you want to order your own kickplates, you can go to http://www.mynissanparts.com, after shipping, they come to ~ $68

OK, here's what Doc has for definate orders..

1. Dangeris - ??? / ???2. That Guy Roger - ??? / ???3. razah9 - Standard Brushed / Nissan4. nightsky - Standard Brushed / Altima5. phenom78 - Carbon fiber / Nismo6. Summer in Brooklyn - Standard Brushed / Summer7. skilled44 - ??? / ???8. BlackNWhite - ???/ Altima9. reflexx - ???/???

So that's seven.. I'm gonna give this another week or so, if you want them, SAVE YOUR MONEY, because you don't want to miss out again... oh, and I can assure you that this will be the FINAL round of orders for at least a few months (until some more new guys join the forum and want in on them)

THANK YOU DOC for all the effort and help!

hahaha I was just thinking the same thing. Way to represent Doc and start a thread on something that he has said he doesn't want to do. If he wants to make a second batch, he will post about it

Nahh this is what the doc, suggested if there are any serious buyers start a thread called round two. I don't see a second round happening, unless more people are seriously committed to this.

AHH YES i am a Newbie to posting on the forums, but i have been reading on here for a couple of weeks (just got my coupe a week ago). I might be new, but i will be a frequent and active member as the Love and Passion for our Awesome Vehicle are the same!

I would not have posted this had the Doc not recommended to do so. Hopefully we get an even greater response this second time around, now that we have this positive feedback on not only the quality, but the ease of installation.

Thanks for the killin!!! LoL

Wow, I am utterly surprised. Sorry for making an a$$ of myself. Just spoke with robert on cell a few hours ago and he seemed rather distraught on the production of a second batch of these.

Yeah I don't think he will take a second batch unless its worth his time, a lot of people said they wanted these few actually got them.

its cool Blake, I askjed folks to do this just to see if the interest was heavy enough...

also, I limited them because

1. I ran out of materials

2. I want feedbacl on guys that purchased them and I want to see if they are happy, and if they want toi make anuy suggestions on improving the kits...

Tareeq was one of the first to pay and his was the first "production" kit I finished, but I stand behind my work, and I want the guys to be happy with their kickplates! I told him to send me back the kickplates and I'll send him a new set for free.

regarding the 2nd round, I will let this thread go for a couple of weeks (I should have all 1t round orders mailed out by the end of this week)

If after a couple of weks there is serious interest, I will sell these again, if not, I won't...

As previously mentioned,if I do these again, they will be ~ $50 more becuase

1. the print shop has informed me that he'll charge more for the second batch due to the amount of time it takes to fabricate them

2. It has to be worth it for me timewise!

Would you please post the total cost for these.

Post

1. How much to modify our kicks..

2. How much for the whole thing...kicks and all. (I don't have alum kicks.)

There might be more interest if people have an exact cost. I know you posted it in the other thread, but it seems to change a little here or there...so what would they be now?

not to thread jack, but that really was the most repetitive/redundant post I've ever seen if my life. I've never read something and it hurt like that before. again, sorry for the thread jack.

I didn't buy mine yet because I didn't even know what color combination for the car I was getting (wouldn't be smart to buy a color combo of the kickplates without knowing what color my car would be--could end up being terribly mismatched). But now that I know exactly what I'm getting for my coupe, I'm willing to buy now! I would like mine to exactly as stock kickplates look, including the lines on both sides of the Altima name, but lit up of course. ^_^ Anyway, rjdmmfl1, thanks so much for your time and effort on this project!

ok, 1st let me say thanks for the interest, HOWEVER, as i mentioned, this isn't a definate yet..

right now, I'm just checking this and seeing what the interest was like. but I can say that when/if I decide to do this again, I will not be able to offer what you just asked for. Lit area can only be a MAXIMUM of 11.5 inches. To do what you are asking, I would need to switch light vendors (gonna cost you more) and its a special order, so its $50 on top of the increase in price...

sorry, don't think you wanna shell out the dough it would cost to do what you're asking (Minimum $350)

I'm sorry rob, to each his own and everything, but the guy obviously doesn't want anyone to know his car is an altima coupe. He has proved that in his "M35 badge" thread, his "G35 rim" thread, and now here with the "nismo lighting". The guys gonna have more fake identities than real ones

Ok, I guess that's out. I'll just have the lit up Altima then. Still looks good. When others have the cash, I'll add my name in the hat for definites.

$190 + $75 + $20 + $50 + $25 = $360

These are the prices I should have been charging the first time... again, it is a very expensive process to make these... and being that I provide the power/ground wires, splice connectors, zip ties, lights with power inverters, and kickplates, there's just no way to get around the cost!

Now the above is the worst case scenario, if you provide me your own aluminum kickplates, and you only want brushed alimnium with "Nissan", the price drops down to $215

Thanks for the link on the kicks. I ordered some aluminum kick plates formy car. So if I decide to have you illuminate them, I've got them now.

But this won't help you decide whether to do it again or not, cuz I don'tknow if I'm gunna do it or not. I would be a maybe right now.

$190 + $20 + $50 + $25 = $285? or would you not accept my donor kickplates because they say altima on them and you wouldn't be able to use them in my order because I want a custom name on there...sorry if it seems like a stupid question but I'm just trying to get a handle on what the final price of my order would be...let me know...and definitely add me to that list of buyers...thanks
