Hey Rob, I'm showing my brother(the one that went with me to Stillen) the pics and he's really interested in some of these for his FX.

He has kickplates for his and would like them to illuminate as well. He wants to know how much you would charge him. He has kick plates in the front and back... but the back ones are really small. Let me know, thanks.

Rob i had sent you an e-mail on Tuesday after i had sent payment. i'll just ask my question one more time. because i do not want to delay the order.

are the aluminum kckplates you use the same as the ones on the nissan website?

i wanted to change my order from carbon fiber to aluminum but if you wanted to i could place my order on nissanparts.com and have them shipped to you. i lik the lines from the OEM ones and i cant see them in the pictures you have up here but it could be the angle i'm looing at it from.

sorry, i've been swamped...

yes, these kickplates are the oem ones, I remove the alumnium piece, and replace it with clear plexiglass, with either a carbon fiber overlay or bshed aluminum overlay..

I can't do the OEM lines... sorry

also, you asked for carbon fiber, so you still owe me another $15 ($235 total for carbon fiber, Altima)

Folks, please, in the future , do not change your orders, it takes too much time to go back and change orders with the print shop...

doesn't matter if you choose CF or the blushed aluminum, its vinyl. Which ever you pick you wont see the lines bc they will be covered in vinyl. At least that is what I think, you'll have to confirm with Doc.

Rob! i just sent the payment for the balance on the kickplate. i noted that this was for you to provide the plates and that i changed my order to aluminum.

my order is as follows.....--------brushed aluminum/"altima" lettering/white light/you provide the kickplates.

I am just waiting for my transfer to go through and I will be stylin' rjdmmfl1's kicks. You want customization? This is the best custom mod at a fair price. If you're worried about installing like I am, just take it to a good shop and give them the instructions. That is what I am probably going to do. Anyway, I am a woman of my word rj and I'm very appreciative that you provided such a great product for us! Thank you for your time and effort in all of this.

I totally agree...it cost doc a lot of time and effort to make these the first time, and the fact that he was willing to go through it all again for the sake of those of you who missed out on the first round, well, for you to not come through on the payments and leave him hanging like that, well, it's really just a jerk move to pull.

I feel bad for those future A/C owners who will join this board, see that these kickplates were available at one point, and may want them, but can't get them anymore due to the actions of a few. On the flipside, I guess it makes them that much more rare of an item, so those of us who did come through on our orders will be a very select few.

lol, that's the thing... Just to get the plexiglass, and have it cut to the exact dimensions of the A/C's kickplates, they charge you by the hour... So before i do anything else, I'm out $200 upfront to get the plexiglass cut! so whether I do 1 set, or 14 sets, it costs the same... that's why I needed 10 folks to come through in order for me to make it worth the effort... I don't mind everyone not buying them, some folks may not like them... but for the folks that begged for them on that gauging interest thread to not come through... it just leaves a bad taste in my mouth...

Again, if it is done again.. I'll require a $20 deposit from at least 10 people.. with NO REFUNDS.. that way, I don't lose money..
