OK..after NOT driving the G for 4-5 days I had a hard time starting it? I've noticed after 24 hrs of not starting the engine it runs really rough for about a 30 seconds. Now after not driving for 4-5 days (do to the f*%@*ing snow) It wouldn't start. It actually flooded Its self, and took 3-4 turns of the key before It blew out all the gas and started. Its starting to rich? Anybody having this problem..and how do I fix that, Its really the computers job?? Help! Jet

I don't know. I know my G does the same thing. Rough after a few days sitting. I just got home from a weekend in Daytona. I took my Jeep on the trip. (Beach, sand and water don't mix well with my G but my Jeep Loves it LOL)

any how, I havn't started it since thursday and today when I opened the door to put my SUNPASS back in the G the lights were dim. I didn't start but i hope it does in the morning.

I will keep you posted.

Blah blah blah snow snow snow. Get over it haha. I store mine over the winter and let it run for a good 10-15 minutes before I move on out of the garage. But for a few days, never had that problem. If its doing that after 24 hours, I'd be a little concerned.

I have kind of the opposite problem with my 07 coupe. If I was just driving the car shut it off for a little bit, enough time to run in and get some Chipotle, then try to start it, it just turns over a couple times, then seems like it gets flooded then starts. Tha was long winded but you get my point, maybe there is something wrong with the fuel management program in our ECU's maybe we can get one of the techs on this to check it out.

If I let my cobra sit for a week or more without starting it, it takes a while to get it cranked and it will idle ruff for several minutes.I was told this was due to the gas draining back in the line away from the engine. If yours is doing it after only 24 hours, I would call Nissan and ask one of their service advisors if they know what's going on.

If its the fuel line, then just keep the key in the "on" position for a min. The fuel pumps will pressurize the lines. But, I have noticed that my G does it after sitting for a weekend...nothing to bad, just runs a bit rich for a few min.

Could also be you have a bit of water in your gas.....if you go to only one gas station try switching to see if that helps? Or could be a weak battery too...

If your Cobra fails to start perhaps these two can assist you with a little push?

Man they are biiiiiggggg

Anyways I think it is a punishment from the G because you are not driving it. It is like a girlfriend. You have to take care of it othervise it will give you a hard time.

Seriously I never had my G off for more than 24 hours in a 16 months of ownership. But as Joe said leave the acc on for a minute. That should help you.

How is your battery? If your battery life is detriorating you might not get the proper cranking power which may/may not be the case. I replace mine recently when it had a tough time starting after a week or so in New York. No problems since.

You should let your car "warm up" for 30 sec-1 min before driving. The Oil needs to be pump up from the pan for proper lubrication

You know what they call a G running 87 octane, sitting on top of a hill?A miracle.
