Hellow, Sundalo92 here. new to posting but not new to the forums. I own a 93' S13 Hatch w/ KA24DE

I've done my searching and can't find the answer so I decided to create a thread.

Anyways, I initially had an issue where I could not shift into any gears when the vehicle is on, but shifts just fine when its off.

So I ended up replacing my clutch master cylinder, beginning with bench bleeding the CMC and bleeding the system only through the slave cylinder. I bled it real good until the new fluid came out.

Once everything was back together I took the car for a cruise. Everything felt fine and better than before, the clutch felt like it's supposed to and I was able to shift like a champ again.

During the cruise I decided to stop by a friend's house and chill for about an hour and head back home. Just as I was leaving to go home, what I thought I had fixed came back. I was having an extremely difficult time putting my car into gear without grinding them.

What I'm confused on is everything was working GREAT when I installed the new CMC, but now it's back to the problem I'm having before?

Ideas?

Notes:

-Clutch operates normally
-Drove just fine including the clutch and shifting, until I let it sit for an hour
-Slave cylinder seems to be operating normally (I noticed when I had my dad pumping and holding the clutch while I bled the system)

I didn't pay attention to the damper last time I was under there, but I went to take a look at it this time, Turns out somebody before me has already deleted the damper.

One more thing, how deep is the slave cylinder supposed to move in and out? I measure only half an inch of movement

I rechecked everything, and I remembered adjusting the clutch on the rod coming from the clutch master cylinder and I guess I had it adjusted too low to where end of the rod was actually knocking up against the bracket (clutch bracket?).

I readjusted it and now it shifts just like a champ again , I guess the little bit of leverage that I had on the clutch wasn't enough for the clutch to disengage fully.

And the reason for it not working after I left my friends house is because the piece where the pin goes in to connect the pedal and the rod actually started to bend from it knocking on the end of the rod. But it's all good because I took that piece from the old master cylinder and replaced the broken one :-).

Thanks for the help tho!
