hey guy's, i just bought on 93 j30t with 127k on it. i want to know if yo guys could help me with a few things i've noticed a couple of days ago. first, when i accelerate from a complete stop i hear a high pitched squeaky sound but it doesnt do it all the time. second, when shifting out of first into second gear it shifts really hard. but once out of first it shifts perfectly. third, when i shift from park to drive the car jerks slightly. besides the problems ive listed i love this car, before i bought the car i wanted a acura legened, but i'm glad i got the j30t instead.

Thhe 93J30T is rear wheel drive with HICAS (4 wheel steering) I own the same car...

For the first issue, check to see if your brakes are okay. The squeal could be brake pads/indicators notifying you to replace them.

For the second.. Shifting out of first into second is rough on nissans..always has been.. The best thing you can do is to completely overhaul the transmission.. Get the fluid flushed along with a pan drop and filter change and a cooler installed.

For the third, it is normal with age for a slight shift shock. If you are really picky, check the engine and transmission mounts. The transmission fluid flush I mentioned above will actually help reduce this..

Good luck. It is a beautiful car..my wife drives ours..enjoy it everyday..
