rough ingine off

engine shakes like for a second or less right when u turn it off.Any ideas or anyone seen this beffore. Also my timing is at 18 which would be retarded 2 degrees i think.

sounds like you have an excess buildup of carbon inside the cylinders causing it to "diesel" after turning off the ignition. You need to thoroughly clean the combustion chambers with something like seafoam or whatever your favorite product is. Whatever you use be sure to run something through the fuel tank, through the intake, and something in the oil. Seafoam and marvel mystery oil can be used in both the tank and oil. seafoam can also be used in the intake but Im now sure about the marvel mystery oil
