Hey guys, looking for some help.

This morning, I jump in the A/C to actually take it to the dealership for some warrantee work on my bluetooth and steer wheel controls and when I started my car, it has a really rough idle and sputter. Also, it won't rev up to much pass 2500 rpm and the VDC and SLIP lights are on. I recently cleaned my AEM dry filter and it feels like it could be a MAS problem. I was very careful taking it off and putting it on but was wondering if I'm out to lunch here or does this seem like a logical problem.

PS
The car never went to the dealership b/c I wanted to have a better look at it and get everyone input first.

Sounds like you damaged the MAF Sensor on the intake when you removed it. I'm sure you were careful, but they are quite delicate. The filter wasn't damp or wet when you installed it back on the car was it? Did you oil the filter?

Check the connections, may be a loose connection. Unplug and plug in the MAF again. Is the CEL (Check Engine Light) on? If so, pull the codes with a code reader or the gas pedal code method.

It's back to normal. I pulled the MAS and it had a couple water spots on it. I guess the filter must have still been damp enough to throw a couple of drop on it when I reinstalled it. Nothing like getting the heart racing at 6:00 am on a Friday after a long week.
