i gotta say that sounds like a vacume leak, might want to try spraying a bit of carb cleaner around the intake at every possible joint, if it casues the idle to change you found a leak, could also be a vac leak further from the manifold, where the val lines go to the turbo's, could be a leak in the intake piping as well, or the crossover tube, someone could have lost an o-ring when changing the plugs
