rough idle.....searched it.

Ok im goin to swap an SR as soon as i get the time away from college and the money.But for now I have to deal with the many problems of my KA24E. Ne ways he it is. on a cold start it WILL NOT idle for ne thing. as it warms up it gets better. when its warm it idles real rough. I open my hood and start messin aroundwith spark plug wires and stuff. I mess with the 3rd cylinder and I pull it. Nothing happens at all, not even a lil bit of a bog. but its gettin spark. Soim thinkin it is the third fuel injector but can't the ECU detect a bad or clogged injector. My ECU is throwin no code but 55 which from what i here is a perectly runnin ECU. I thought mayb low fuel pressure but that would hurt all cylinders.I pulled each plug and with each one it bogged down like it would die except for the thirf cylinder. So im sure people will say check ur injector but idk how to test it. Havn't ran injector cleaner through it lately and also when i put 91 octane in it it runs better, not as best ive seen it but better. Ne help would be great

swap it with with another injector to confirm. injectors cost 50 dollars at deatschewerks. How would an ECU knowinjector is clogged?

check the fsm in my signature. it tells you how to test injectors. 89-90

i read a lil bit in my chiltons manual about injectors and it talks about them "clicking", well my third injector doesn't. Does that mean its bad??

put the injector in another cylinder and see if it clicks. sounds like connector or harness.

ok it clicked just as much in the second plug as it does in the third. Does it mean its ok?

Listen to the clicking of a working injector for reference to see what it should sound like. If suspect injector is clicking like the others, then you have to assume it is ok electronically and that it might be plugged.There are products for cleaning injectors.
