My s13 with a KADE was idleing really bad the other day and would sometimes stall when i came to a complete stop. I put 93 gas in instead of 89 and now it isnt doing it. It did it a little when i first bought the car and i put in injector cleaner and it idled fine for a while, b ut just started acting up recently. Could it be my injectors or maybe my MAFS. I cleaned my MAFS but it didnt help. Thanks

Seams to me that you just need to use better gas. Problem solved.

The real qustion is, why would you need to run higher octane gas...

Back when my car was stock and ran good I could run 87 with it idling good. No prob. Bogged alot, but it still idled.

Maybe a dirt idle control valve or a bad tps connection, missing throttle dog idle adjusting screw, or a bad injector (like my car is now) or bad/loose MAF or CTS.....etc.

or.........if you've advanced your timing....could be alot of it.

especially if you need a tune up. How long since new plugs, wires, cap, rotor, fuel filter, air filter??

Basically, anything in idle control wise or iginition or fuel wise can cause a bad idle.

Sooo.............pretty much any part of the car except the actual motor itself could be bad or loose and causing this problem, get an ohm meter and test all your sensors, if you've never done a real tune up, for the love of Nissan do it already.

I hope that you're getting something to control those larger injectors with....

Have the same problem recentely, I replace the PCV valve $7 and seems to have cleared it up for now. It was a pain to replace
