Hello NiCo,
I own a 1990 240sx Fastback (KA24E), It was running great till today when i did a tune up. I changed the fuel filter, then started the car, it seem to be running fine. Next thing i did was install new wires, but i happened to misread the Chilton's book and i put the wires in different spots than its wupposed to. I tried starting the car over and over because i thought it was an airpocket in the gas line from the new filter, but it made funny sounds. Then i realized the numbers were on the distributor cap itself and i placed them on right, but when i started the car, the engine was jerky at idle and make faint knocking sounds. I though it was the connection of the wires so i wiggled them tighter but it only helped a little, then it went back to shaking. Whenever i put it in gear it shakes like crazy almost till it stalls (which happened once or twice). I am angry with myself cause all i wanted to do was a nice little tune up, and I messed up. Please help me!
