Hey guys looking for help on an 03 g35 coupe

Having a low idle that's causing the car to shut off on startup . It barely lets me rev and if I do sometimes it shuts off quicker I've changed
spark plugs
Cool packs
fuel pump
throttle body
battery
and much more . Long story short my mechanic can't even figure it out .
Any ideas or suggestions on what can be causing this to happen . I let the car sit for 2 weeks and this has been happening ever since . It was driving great idk what could be the issue

Do you have enemies putting sugar in your gas tank? How long have you had these issues and how long has it been since before those two weeks? I mean, when did it run well last? If you add parts and those don't fix it, then you don't have a running car to know that your added parts work correctly. So, you could be making the issue worse as you have to diagnose all the new parts you've added as well as the underlying situation you're trying to address. I mean, if the car isn't running correctly, how do you know you have a working fuel pump or throttle body? I'd stop throwing money at parts and start getting serious about diagnoses.

You can get the FSM and start reviewing what it recommends for diagnoses. Here's a link: http://www.nicoclub.com/FSM/G35/Coupe/2003/

I think you have "drive by wire" so you have an electronic sensor in the gas pedal. There is a "relearn" procedure that can be performed. Actually, you already did your throttle body, so you would have done that procedure already (right?). Your mechanic isn't going the old school route on your new school car is he?

The FSM EC chapter has some great stuff in there. Maybe look at the "Basic Service Procedure" pages and read into those a bit.

Let us know. Any details or further information can help us with diagnoses. We'll help you out as much as we can.

Lol i was suspicious of that since I'm not the first owner but the car is in my garage safe with "no haters " plus it was driving a beast until now. I drove it the day I left and came home to a dusty non working car
when I changed the fuel pump tank was in great condition .
About a month ago I had my clutch and flywheel changed the car was driving great. I had Business trip to Cali for two weeks in which the car sat in That time " I came back a week ago " . After returning I cranked it a few time wondering why it suddenly didn't want to be driven. In the process it stoped cranking coming to find out I was due for a starter . Replaced starter and same issue. Took out my throttle body as I know it gives similar Simptoms replaced with a new on I had on hand and the car went woot . Drove it for about 10 minute on a safe route in case it descided to shut off . Pulled in my driveway turned car off to see if the problem had fixed . The car went beck to the same issue .

I will look through that and see what I can get from it. I greatly appreciate your response and help. I'm in the process of trying to get the codes it's pulling.

I'm wondering why it drove perfectly the one time I changed the throttle body but went back to the same issue . The moment I turned the car off . Fuel pump and all other parts where added before I left for my trip . Only starter and throttle body was added after I returned " as my starter was needed prior to me leaving " I tried a friends throttle body to see if that was the trick along with another relearn but it had the same symptoms of low idle snd the relearn I have never been able to get to work nor have I ever seen my check engine light on . My slip light does stay on . " has been on even when the car was in beast mode " "Loving this site already" great support and resources . Now I just need to find out the cure for my baby .
