The car started to have a rough idle and hesitate while driving. When Cold it idles so rough till it dies, so now I let idle at 2000RPM till it worms up then the idle stays kind of rough but it won't die.
the check engine light sometimes goes on while driving in the freeway for a moment and then goes off.
I checked the ecu and got code 34. I've done the self diagnose for o2 sensors and both left and right runs rich for 10-15 seconds and then goes lean for 3-4 seconds!!! :wtf2:

oh, so do you think that the problem is the o2 sensors?! but is it possible for them to ware at the sametime? if so what could cause that?
I was thinking that it might be another electrical problem that cause the ECU read them wrong, like a short in the wires, could this be correct?

Thanks for the fast reply... :)

Not usually. If the ECU says they're shot, then they're probably shot.

The best way to take care of the code 34 is to buy a new knock sensor and harness (Z1motorsports sells an upgraded harness for cheaper than the OEM) and relocate it to the back of the plenum.

Yes thanks for the link. I already thought so that I have multiple problems since I have been driving my z since I bought it for a year without doing any maintenance, considering the 200,XXX miles on it. These cars are pretty reliable when they don't break.....

Yes they are actually quite reliable as long as you keep up with proper maintenance. Most people though drive the hell out of them and expect them to keep going with only oil and gas. Then it gets worse and worse until they have to sell it or spend big money to fix
