Ok so needed to open up my front timing cover because i needed to replaced the idler sprocket bolt. After i did that i went ahead and set the timing right just like the one on the Jim Wolf timing procedure.

So i go a head and start the car no problem but then i get a rough idle.

It seems like the car just wants to die but it just keeps working and working. My RPM stays just around 800-1000. Everything on the dash is fine, its just the engine shakes quite a bit more than usual.

When i rev the car up to about 4-5k RPM the engine doesnt shake as much as when its on idle. So i think i am off the timing a little?

Just making sure this is my problem so i wanted to ask you guys.

Thanks

You can adjust the timing at the distributor, just loosen the slider bolt and twist one direction or the other until idle stabilizes...

Did you possibly forget to plug something electrical in?

I have tryed that already and i still get the same idling problem.

I have checked everything and they are all in the right place. Vacum lines, etc..

Are you sure it isn't ignition then?

Maybe you should post in the Nissan Online Mechanic section. Have patience for your reply.

I really don't know why people keep posting crap like this here.
