I have a 94 Q, and it's very hard to keep running when I first start it up, but after it warms up it seems to do just fine. It idles VERY rough, and has a bunch of white smoke coming out of the back. Any suggestions on where to start??

Start with the MAF, many posts. One in the IOM (Infiniti Online Mechanic) right now that lots of good info. Bad or dirty MAF and check the plug and connections very carefully. Often you can just wiggle the MAF plug and it'll clear up.

That's where I'd start.
