I have been having very rough start problems on my brand new car. Infinity says it has to do with poor fuel in my city (Tucson). They asked me to only run tier 3 fuel which I have and the problem still exists. Has anybody else experienced this problem or do I have a lemon?

Ininity Japan says they have no fix for this localized problem.

We have never had any fuel related problems with any of our other vehicles (NSX, BMW, Trucks, Vans, etc). I, nor my gearhead husband and son, have any idea what Infinity specific fuel needs would/could be. We wonder if they are shooting us hot air?

Can anyone shed any insight into this problem?

You know what always crackes me up. People who actually own an Infiniti and don't know how to spell it.

Obviously not much research was done when they went in to buying the car.

Anyhow, it really does sound like a gas problem. Make sure you buy it from a bigger station, because if you buy it from a little ma and pa place it can still have fuel issues even if you get 93.

If its not that, I have no idea?

Dis forum is litered wiff posters that porpoisely mis-spell words.

But, if you mis-spell INFINITI, the dictionary toting cyber-police will correct you immediately.

Please be careful, fore they are poised over their keyboards ready to strike their deadly keystrokes of justice!!

I think I would seek out a name brand station that has a lot of turn over, perhaps near the interstate and I would try some gas treatment.Good Luck!!

I have the exact same problem. I also live in Tucson. They must be shipping the half gas/half water stuff to us.

Try a can of ISOHEET (not HEET) in your next tankful and see if it helps with the bad gas situation.

I mean, with the word INFINITI all over your car, its kind of crazy to realize that some people dont know how to spell it.

I will probably get ***** slapped for this... seeing as how posting a thread from another forum is bad netiquette, but I wonder if your issues are related to this?
