I don't think anyone has experienced what you describe at those speeds. At extremely low RPM's, (1200-1400) there is a hint of vibration which is well documented and how the CVT normally operates, but at higher RPMs, those are gone.

My first inclination for vibrations at those speeds would be tires.

If you can replicate the vibration every time, I'd suggest you ask to drive the vehicle for the service mechanic/manager so you can be certain they experience the vibration you describe. Having them try to replicate a problem can be quite difficult given each individual's driving styles.

Good luck.

Like I said in the "clunk noise" thread, your vibration is excessive and is not by design, there is definately a defect with your vehicle. And no, Nissan is not running a big conspiracy to purposely cause your vehicle to fail within a year, and then refuse to fix it just so they can screw you over and make you pay once your warranty is up. Your Service Dept. sounds like they suck and that's why I hope you keep on them to get this fixed, but the vibration you are talking about is NOT the same as the one in the article you posted where the jounalist doesn't care for the minor CVT vibrations that the Rogue incurs at low speeds and high gear ratio. Good luck man, just be persistent and they'll find the solution for you under warranty.

That been discussed earlier. CVT made in this car to save the gas so it is going to the higher gear earlier. There's a magic box on a right for the search where you can find the thread. Also it seems to be you don't even own a Rogue because this is not a Rogue that's a roGUe but its a common mistake for those that don't own this car.

If you need a definition of a word, the dictionary is always handy.

I would suggest taking it to another dealer to see if they can duplicate the issue.

Also, please do not repost the same thing 10 times. I had deleted the other 9 duplicate posts in this thread. If it was a computer problem that caused it, then disregard.

I was asking what a Rogue is since the person that started the thread doesn't know how to spell Rogue.
